Best-sellers 2021: why are these products your favourites of the year?

Manufactured in France, the purifying solid soap for face and body is enriched with essential oils of eucalyptus globulus for its purifying virtues and green mint with regenerative properties. Indeed, the essential oil of green mint is rich in carvone, a monoterpenic ketone that promotes the reconstruction of skin tissues. It also contains stinging nettle powder rich in mineral salts and trace elements that rebalance oily skin by regulating sebum production, just like the essential oil of eucalyptus globulus. Resulting from cold saponification, this cleansing care contains 8% superfat. As a reminder, superfat refers to the amount of vegetable oil that remains after the saponification reaction, the higher the percentage, the more gentle and nourishing the soap is.

Our peppermint hydrosol has been distilled from peppermint leaves sourced from organic farming, grown and harvested in France. When applied to the skin, it has apurifying and astringent effect. Enriched with active ingredients to exfoliate the skin, tighten pores and reduce the presence of blackheads, this exfoliating toner is applied to clean, dry skin only in the evening. Its acidic pH rebalances the skin's pH after each cleansing. It also helps to remove the lime residues present in the water during rinsing, thus avoiding any drying effect. Glycolic acid is a chemical compound with keratolytic action on the upper layers of the skin, which stimulates cell renewal. It is also renowned for its astringent and deep-cleansing virtues, thus limiting the appearance of blackheads. Potentially drying, it is here combined with vegetable glycerin with moisturising properties. Indeed, this compound captures the moisture in the air to ensure superficial hydration of the epidermis.

• The exfoliating serum :

  This product is formulated with a 10% glycolic acid concentration and does not require a rinsing step. Glycolic acid has a molecular weight of 76.05 g/mol. It is the smallest A.H.A. (alpha-hydroxy acid). It enhances the quality and texture of the epidermis through its keratolytic, astringent and deep-cleansing virtues. Glycolic acid also possesses a hydrating power due to its stimulating effect on cellular renewal and the synthesis of hyaluronic acid.

• The plumping serum based on hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5:

• Theunifying serum :

  By promoting micro-blood circulation, the niacinamide in high concentration (12%) in this serum reduces redness caused by blemishes to provide a more even complexion. Enriched with zinc PCA (4%) and bamboo extract, two purifying and sebum-regulating active ingredients, it purifies the skin and combats skin imperfections. Zinc limits the growth of microorganisms such as Propionobacterium acnes, a bacterium that is abnormally excessive in acne-prone skin. This cream is thus suitable for oily skin prone to imperfections.

• The firming face cream :

  This product contains two firming active ingredients: 0.2% retinol and tsubaki oil. It is preferably applied in the evening, as retinol is a photosensitising substance. It combats the appearance of wrinkles and makes the skin more plump. Generally, one must wait between 8 and 12 weeks to start seeing the effects of retinol on the skin.
