How is blemished skin defined?
This refers to a skin that exhibits irregularities such as enlarged pores, blackheads and pimples. These imperfections are caused by three main factors: thickening of the epidermis (hyperkeratinisation), excessive sebum production (hyperseborrhoea) and multiplication of a bacterium (Propionibacterium acnes).
Treatments for acne spots.
To cleanse your skin, use the exfoliating cleansing gel with gluconolactone (PHA). Then apply our purifying toner to rebalance the skin's pH. Concentrated in salicylic acid , known for its anti-bacterial properties, this lotion also limits the growth of microorganisms involved in the appearance of spots. Following this, you can use the local imperfections serum rich in salicylic acid and zinc. This is applied in the evening in small amounts only on the affected areas to dry out the spots. On the whole face, finish your routine by applying our purifying face cream with zinc PCA and bamboo extract.
The skincare routine to combat blackheads.
Also known as "open comedones", blackheads occur due to a significant and abnormal accumulation of sebum in the sebaceous glands. They are visible on certain parts of the face, most often on the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin).
To eliminate them, during your evening routine, we first recommend cleansing your skin with our purifying cleansing gel concentrated in purifying actives such as zinc PCA. It sanitises the skin, regulates sebum production and limits the development of imperfections. Then apply our peppermint hydrosol, a treatment obtained by hydrodistillation from organic peppermint leaves, grown and harvested in France. Continue your routine with the exfoliating serum based on glycolic acid known for its keratolytic, astringent and unclogging virtues. Finally, it may be relevant to use the hazelnut vegetable oil which regulates sebum production.
To complete this skincare routine, once or twice a week, proceed with a radiance facial scrub usingrosehip oil to unclog pores and boost cell renewal, followed by our purifying mask with charcoal.
Treatments for enlarged pores.
Pores are openings found on the skin's surface, cavities through which sweat and sebum flow. Over time, it is entirely likely that they may enlarge and become more visible. Enlarged pores add to the list of skin imperfections due to the fact that they promote the appearance of blackheads.
Adopt good habits daily to remedy this. Cleanse your skin every day using our purifying cleansing gel. Then, each morning, use our peppermint hydrosol on your already cleansed skin. Thanks to its astringent effect, this product will help to reduce the visibility of pores.
The niacinamide is also an excellent active ingredient for combating enlarged pores. The use of the purifying cleansing gel followed by the unifying toner and then the niacinamide-based serum morning and evening can tighten the pores and prevent the appearance of blemishes.
