I wanted to create a radical new skincare brand. For too long, the world of skincare had been defined by exaggerated promises and suspect chemicals. After gathering a team of health and skincare experts, we set out together to challenge the industry. We chose to go back to basics.

At Typology, good skincare is defined by the quality of the ingredients. Our RAW product range is testament to this belief. After a year of research and development, RAW is ready to launch. Every product is made using a single raw, natural and often, edible ingredients like avocado oil or cranberry powder. Just mix them together to create your own formulation.

We wanted to take an autonomous approach. Working from the ground up, we built a 100% online model, which means we can sell premium products at a great price.

Staying true to our philosophy of simplicity and transparency, we intend to remain uncompromising in our mission to offer consumers a premium natural skincare alternative.

We're tireless in our mission to hunt down the best ingredients.
Whether we're in France, around Europe or further afield looking for exotic extracts, they must be sourced from sustainable farms using gentle extraction techniques.

Our formulas are simple, considered and effective. Provenance is important to us, so you'll always know where our ingredients come from. And we'll even show you how to create your own skincare formulations along the way.

All formulations are 100% French. Our partner laboratories in Bergerac, Aix en Provence and Compiègne work with us to put their French skincare heritage to good use.


We do our best to leave no trace of our products or brand in the environment. At every step of the production process, we use recyclable materials and sustainable transport.

The same goes for materials. We use glass for smaller packaging and recyclable plastic for the larger ones, so they're not too heavy. But we're always looking for innovative non-plastic alternatives.

Our tubes are aluminium. It's light, durable and the only material that can be recycled repeatedly without losing its quality. Best of all, air can't get into it, so you can keep products fresh, and squeeze out every last drop too.

We keep our containers flat which means smaller packages that fit inside your mailbox and leave a lower carbon footprint. You can also re-use most of them at home.

We're a company with a clear mission. Respect the environment, have a positive impact on society and respect our customers through clear and informed communication. B Corp certification is a major milestone which we're all proud to be getting closer to. It captures the true ideology behind our brand.

B Corp certification covers the entire business and spans five key areas - governance, staff, community, environment and customers. The certification process was rigorous; we had to score more than 80 points out of 200 and provide evidence of all our socially and environmentally responsible practices such as energy supply, waste and water management, staff wellbeing, diversity and transparency. We also had to revise our corporate purpose to demonstrate our commitment to having a positive and significant societal and environmental impact that takes into account the needs of our stakeholders.
