Cleansing Milk: For which skin type?
Cleansing milk, suitable for all skin types?
The facial cleansing milk is the ally of sensitive and reactive skin. It is also part of the care to adopt when one has dry skin or mature skin. Indeed, these weakened epidermis need gentleness and struggle to maintain the hydration of the skin tissues. They should then favour a delicate cleanser with a rich texture to avoid tightness and inflammations that may appear after cleansing.
Indeed, beyond its primary function of cleansing the skin, this milk-based cleanser hydrates the facial skin. It thus allows tovisibly improve the appearance and comfort of the skin. Furthermore, in the long term, it also limits irritations and sensitivities as it protects and preserves the protective barrier.
Indeed, with its creamy texture and nourishing and hydrating active ingredients such as oils or plant milks, the cleansing milk helps to free the facial skin from impurities but without damaging the hydrolipidic film on the surface of the epidermis. Some cleansing milks also contain floral waters, which additionally help to intensely soothe these skin types that may tend to redden or feel tight during the cleansing stage. It thus leaves the epidermis clean, hydrated, smooth, supple and without leaving a greasy film.
Contrary to popular belief, this type of creamy textured cleansing product is not contraindicated for combination to oily skin or those prone to blemishes. On the contrary, it is even a good alternative to cleansing gels often recommended in this case, but which can prove irritating to the epidermis, especially those that do not contain moisturising actives (aloe vera, glycerine, sugars...). The appearance of blemishes can also be caused by dehydration of the epidermis. Indeed, in the quest to purify the skin, it can become fragile and dry out. Result: the skin produces more sebum to protect itself, thereby causing the formation of blackheads and spots.
