Cernes vasculaires (cernes bleutés).

Vascular dark circles (bluish discolouration)

Definition:   Presence of a concentric circle under the eyes with a bluish or purplish tint, linked to a failure of the blood and lymphatic micro-circulation of the eye contour.

Internal and external causes:   Lack of sun, genetic reason, skin ageing.

How to reduce or eliminate them:   Use a treatment enriched with active ingredients that have draining effects (caffeine, niacinamide, cornflower hydrolate, etc.); injection of hyaluronic acid; apply a compress soaked in cold water, an ice cube wrapped in a towel or a cold spoon to the eyes.

Preventive measures:   Get at least 7 hours sleep a night; stay well hydrated (drink at least 1.5 litres of water a day and apply a suitable cream); regularly massage the area with a suitable cream.
