Exfoliating Toner L21
with 8% Glycolic Acid

The Exfoliating Toner L21 is suitable for all skin types. It is particularly well-suited for skin with blackheads or visible pores.

However, we do not recommend it for sensitive and atopic skin due to the high concentration of AHAs, which can cause allergic reactions or irritations.

The watery texture of the Exfoliating Toner L21 is very fluid and light. It quickly absorbs into the skin without leaving a sticky or drying finish.

Glycolic acid 8%:
Glycolic acid is renowned for its exfoliating power on the upper layers of the skin and its astringent properties (in other words, it tightens the pores). This powerful active ingredient helps to unclog pores and reduces the presence of blackheads, which are caused by the accumulation of sebum in the pores.

Glycolic acid peeling is the most well-known peel for the superficial layer of the skin. Dead cells that are linked together accumulate on the surface of the epidermis. Glycolic acid works by breaking these bonds and allows for their removal. As a result, the skin is left with a rejuvenated, unified, and toned upper layer.

In addition to its exfoliating effect, glycolic acid is also moisturizing due to its stimulating effect on cell renewal and the synthesis of hyaluronic acid.

Lemongrass hydrosol:
Rich in monoterpenols, molecules known for their antibacterial activity, lemongrass hydrosol is renowned for its purifying effect on the skin.

Additionally, its acidic pH helps reduce the appearance of pores. It is therefore particularly recommended for acne-prone skin to prevent the formation of blackheads and comedones.

Vegetable glycerin:
Glycerin helps to capture moisture from the air to ensure superficial hydration of the epidermis.

Stop using the Exfoliating Toner L21 if you experience any discomfort or irritation.

The Exfoliating Toner L21 contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterward.

To minimize the risk of skin irritation, it is not recommended to apply multiple products containing AHAs (glycolic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid, tartaric acid, etc.) and/or BHAs (salicylic acid) and/or retinoids (retinol, retinol esters, etc.) on the same night. In this case, alternate their use every other day to avoid exacerbating the effects of these active ingredients.
