The Mask for Enlarged Pores and Blackheads L71 is suitable for all skin types affected by blackheads, visible pores, or a lack of radiance in the complexion.

However, due to its high concentration of AHAs, its use is not recommended for sensitive skin.

The texture of the Mask for Enlarged Pores and Blackheads L71 is a fluid and refreshing aqueous gel that spreads easily over the face, without leaving a greasy or sticky film after rinsing.

10% AHA complex:
Combination of 4 AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) with different molecular sizes to penetrate more or less deeply into the superficial layers of the epidermis. Their exfoliating action helps to renew the skin's surface, reduce the presence of blackheads, and tighten pores.

From the smallest molecule to the largest, this complex consists of:

• 7% glycolic acid (76 g/mol):
  The smallest of the AHAs, glycolic acid quickly and easily penetrates the stratum corneum. This deep action provides intense exfoliation, promoting accelerated cell renewal.

• 1.5% lactic acid (90 g/mol):
  Slightly larger in size, it shares the same properties as glycolic acid but with a more moderate penetration, promoting a gentle, gradual, and better-tolerated exfoliation. Its uniqueness lies in its humectant power, which enhances skin hydration and strengthens the skin barrier.

• 0.5% tartaric acid (150 g/mol):
  Tartaric acid has a high molecular weight, which limits its penetration and directs its action to the surface of the skin. This results in a gentler and more superficial exfoliation. Additionally, it acts as a pH regulator, optimizing the effectiveness of other AHAs.

• 1% mandelic acid (152 g/mol):
  The largest in size, it penetrates the skin more slowly, ensuring good skin tolerance even on sensitive skin. When combined with other AHAs, it enhances the exfoliating action while minimizing the risk of irritation or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

Gluconolactone 10%:
This active ingredient from the PHA (poly-hydroxy-acid) family is a gentle chemical exfoliant. It enhances the skin's natural hydration while providing a micro-exfoliation that complements the action of AHAs.

Stop using this mask if you experience any discomfort or irritation.

This mask contains alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) which may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterward.

To minimize the risk of skin irritation, it is advised not to apply multiple products containing AHAs (glycolic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid, tartaric acid, etc.) and/or BHAs (salicylic acid) and/or retinoids (retinol, retinol esters, etc.) on the same evening. In this case, alternate their use every other day to avoid exacerbating the effects of these active ingredients.
