It also contains vitamins E, D, A, B1, PP, B2 and B6, as well as minerals such as calcium, potassium, trace elements, squalene, and carotenoids.

In cosmetology, prunus amygdalus dulcis oil is suitable for topical application. It is known for its emollient properties that nourish the skin and protect it from the effects of skin dryness. It also acts as a softener and a strengthener that deeply repairs the skin.

Derived through a cold-press extraction process, sweet almond oil is recommended for formulating beauty treatments for various skin types, namely dry to very dry skin, sensitive skin, or skin that exhibits stretch marks.

It is also used to formulate hair care products. This ingredient is typically incorporated into formulas for dry and coarse hair, brittle hair, or for the treatment of split ends. It's worth noting that prunus amygdalus dulcis oil creates a synergy with other ingredients such as fine lavender essential oils, super lavandin or shell marjoram.
