What is beech bud extract?

The beech tree, botanically known as Fagus sylvatica, is a tree that grows in European forests. Living up to 250 years, the beech tree is renowned for its longevity and robustness.

To obtain the plant extract from beech buds, an enzymatic extraction is necessary. This process occurs in several stages: crushing of the seeds, agitation, enzymatic reaction, centrifugation, clarification. The beech seeds are sourced from the finest resources in France such as the Vosges forest and are handpicked and sorted manually.

The extract of beech buds is a water-based substance with a slightly amber hue, accompanied by a woody scent. Comprised of amino acids, polyphenols, flavonoids, tannins, and phytostimulins, it is recommended for its regenerative and hydrating properties.
