Stress, deficiencies, daily makeup application and removal... All these factors can lead to the weakening of eyelashes and eyebrows, which is manifested by a fall or loss of density. Our eyelash and eyebrow serum contains several active ingredients to nourish, strengthen and promote the growth of eyelashes and eyebrows.
This vegetable oil, renowned for its strengthening and nourishing properties, is reputed to promote the growth of eyelashes and eyebrows. It has been demonstrated that ricinoleic acid, which makes up more than 80% of castor oil, is capable of reversing the process associated with the loss of hair follicles by inhibiting the action of Prostaglandin D2 (PGD2). It also helps to hydrate and strengthen eyelashes and eyebrows, which tend to grow more quickly as a result.
Pea peptides (2%)
These are sequences of amino acids (mainly lysine units) extracted from the species Pisum sativum, a yearly plant from the legume family (Fabaceae). Pea peptides possess strengthening properties towards hair follicles (eyelashes, eyebrows, hair). Biologically, they work by inhibiting the activity of the cytokine TGF-beta-1, a protein activated by dihydrotestosterone (DHT) that triggers the catagen phase of the hair follicle too early, precipitating its fall.
The Biotinyl-GHK / Panthenol combination
Biotinyl-GHK, also known as biotinoyl tripeptide-1, is the product of the reaction between biotin (vitamin B8 or vitamin H) and tripeptide-1 (a three amino acid residue peptide Gly-His-Lys). The panthenol is also known by the names of pro-vitamin B5 and dexpanthenol. It is the precursor of vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), a major component of coenzyme A, which plays a key role in the cell and tissue repair mechanism. Biotinyl-GHK and panthenol work in synergy to stimulate the synthesis of collagen and laminin, molecules responsible for anchoring the bulb in the epidermis and thus strengthening eyelashes and eyebrows.
