Today, there are numerous tinted products available on the market. Among them, we have foundations, BB creams, CC creams, complexion correctors, etc... In addition to blurring the visibility of imperfections and unifying the complexion, some may contain an SPF in their formulas, while others do not. They thus allow one to apply makeup while protecting the skin from the sun's UV rays, which contribute to skin ageing (brown spots, dehydration, fine lines, etc...).
Of course, these makeup products with SPF cannot replace the daily application of a sunscreen cream.
At Typology, our tinted serum does not contain SPF. With light coverage and enriched with vitamin C, squalane and aloe vera, this 2-in-1 treatment evens out the complexion while providing hydration and nourishment to the skin. Its silicone-free formula does not clog pores, thus preventing the formation of imperfections.
We have made the decision not to incorporate SPF into our complexion serum because for this product, we envisioned a lightweight texture. The addition of sunscreens would have weighed down the formula and altered the desired sensorial experience.
To counteract this, apply beforehand a sunscreen suited to your phototype to protect your skin from the harmful effects of the sun. Our SPF30 sunscreen prevents photoaging thanks to the combination of mineral and organic filters offering broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection. Enriched with hyaluronic acid and aloe vera, it deeply hydrates the skin.
