The cannabidiol (CBD) is an active substance that is part of the hundred cannabinoids found in hemp. Unlike delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which is considered to be the cause of cannabis intoxication, CBD does not have any psychotropic effects, thus allowing it to be used in cosmetics. Numerous anecdotal results testify to the effects of CBD, which, in some cases, have been supported by research findings.
