How to apply a bronzing drops?

The bronzing drops is a form of liquid tinted cosmetic that provides a sun-kissed complexion to dull skin, due to its unique composition . It can be used on the face, but also on the body. There are several bronzing drops on the market, differing in their method of use, among other things.

  • Apply pure. Some bronzing drops can be applied directly in one to two drops onto the skin in a pure form, making light circular movements with the fingers, using a flat brush or a makeup sponge. Generally, this method of application is recommended for achieving a more intense tan, creating a "post-holiday" effect. In this situation, apply it after your sun care routine and as a base with the potential use of a foundation.

  • Mix with another product. It is possible to incorporate a few drops of the bronzing drops into a moisturising cream or foundation. This allows for the modulation of the tanning effect according to one's desires. Generally, for a slightly tanned effect, it is recommended one to two drops in your moisturising cream. However, for a slightly more vibrant glow, two to four drops are rather advised in your facial product.

Let us remind that a bronzing drops is not a sun protection. Therefore, the step of applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen should not be overlooked.

Indeed, its inclusion in a moisturising cream can be beneficial for individuals who do not wear makeup. They can thus enjoy a golden complexion, without the need to apply foundation or bronzer afterwards.

This process is particularly relevant for body application. Indeed, incorporating the concentrate into body products would allow for coverage of larger areas and broad-spectrum action. The application remains the same: apply to the area you wish to tan using circular motions until a uniform complexion is achieved.

In all instances, the bronzing drops must then be removed in the evening like traditional makeup, using a makeup remover, otherwise there is a risk of experiencing negative effects on the skin (redness, spots, irritations, etc.). Furthermore, it is important to remember to wash your hands before and after application to avoid unwanted staining.

Our bronzing drops is formulated from apricot oil extract (INCI: Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil) and vitamin E (INCI: Tocopheryl Acetate), allowing for both short and long term effects.
