Procédé d'obtention cellules natives de rose blanche

How are native cells from white roses obtained?

Among the various species and varieties of roses, there is the white rose. The plant cells extracted from this flower promote the oxygenation of skin cells and combat the overproduction of free radicals. They even out the complexion, revive the skin's radiance, and reduce pigmentation defects.

The white rose, an overview.

The white rose (Rosa alba) is a hybrid species belonging to the large Rosaceae family. It originates from the temperate and subtropical regions of the northern hemisphere. There are approximately 200 species of roses, including shrubs and bushes. These hardy plants require no particular protection during the winter period. They can easily withstand temperatures dropping to -20°C.

Due to its lack of colour and its simple petal crown, the white rose has symbolised purity and innocence since ancient Greek times, when it was the flower of Aphrodite, the young goddess of beauty. Today, this ancient rose is cultivated in certain European countries including France for its cold resistance, its sweet and powerful fragrance, and for its essential oil; however, it is believed to still grow wild in Asia Minor.

White rose native cells, definition and extraction process.

The native cells of the white rose are whole cells that are locally harvested from the plant. They are the result of an environmentally friendly biotechnological process that respects biodiversity and involves several stages:

  1. Selection of the Plant and Sampling : Taking a piece from the plant (leaves);

  2. Culture In vitro of the harvested plant piece: Successive transfers onto a fresh nutritive medium composed of water, minerals, sugar, and vitamins;

  3. Elicitation: Stimulation of cell culture through UV and visible light to produce metabolites (active molecules);

  4. Rinsing : Removal of all traces of the nutrient medium;

  5. Cell Filtration ;

  6. Sonication of cells and dispersion of the extract in sunflower oil.

This extraction method allows for the preservation of all active molecules present in the plant cells, which gives this compound a complementary action against other plant extracts (vegetable oils, essential oils and hydrosols).

White rose native cells, what benefits for the skin?

These compounds work at various levels to revive the complexion's radiance:

  1. Firstly, the native cells of the white rose stimulate cellular regeneration. As a reminder, thisprocess is essential as it allows the removal of dead cells and strengthens the skin barrier, thanks to the keratin which the keratinocytes are charged with. Renewing the skin brings radiance and luminosity to the complexion.

  2. Next, they reduce inflammation associated with assaults, particularly those from UVB rays. They work by inhibiting the activity of three inflammation mediators synthesised at the hair follicle level: two cytokines (IL1-alpha and IL-6) and a prostaglandin (PGE2), which is notably involved in vasodilation.

  3. Finally, they provide a antioxidant activity. Indeed, they reduce the creation of free radicals due to pollution. The native cells of white rose limit the release of malondialdehyde (MDA) during lipid peroxidation induced by pollutant residues and heavy metals. The MDA, naturally present in tissues, is a manifestation of oxidative stress. It is particularly derived from the action of reactive oxygen species on polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Due to their effects on the skin, approximately 375,000 native cells of white rose are present in our botanical radiance blend. This night serum is preferably used in the evening, before bedtime, for a luminous skin in the morning. It should be noted, it is contraindicated for pregnant or breastfeeding women due to the presence of essential oil.
