Why does my coenzyme Q10 skincare product have crystals?

The coenzyme Q10 is naturally present in the body's cells. However, from around the age of 30, its production tends to decrease, leading to the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the skin's surface. Thanks to its revitalising properties, coenzyme Q10, as a cosmetic active ingredient, promotes oxygenation and cell renewal. It thus delays skin ageing.

A skincare product containing this molecule should not be stored in a place that is too cold. Indeed, this can lead to the crystallisation of Q10 and small white crystals may thus appear at the bottom of your product. Therefore, place your Q10 skincare product at room temperature to make the crystals disappear. These temperature variations do not alter the effectiveness of the product.
