Fatima NDIAYE, R&D Project Manager at Typology, Shares Her Opinion

Fatima NDIAYE, R&D Project Manager at Typology, shares her opinion.

"Ferulic acid is still quite rare in cosmetic formulas. Yet, it is a powerful antioxidant that effectively fights free radicals and the damage they cause in the skin (wrinkles and fine lines, pigmentation spots...). This active ingredient also gives a true glow to dull and tired complexions. However, be sure to use ferulic acid preferably in the evening, as this ingredient can have a photosensitizing effect."

Opinions About “Sérum Antioxydant”

Our antioxidant serum is formulated to focus on two antioxidant active ingredients: Ferulic Acid (3%) and Resveratrol (3%). It is recommended to unify and brighten a sallow and tired complexion caused by age and/or external factors. Here are some comments about this product:

  • Alain T. (18/01/2021): "Immediate effect on facial skin. The serum provides a pleasant feeling of warmth. It gives a visibly revitalized appearance. The mature skin is really strengthened" ;

  • Amélie D. (09/10/2019): "Super! I use it mixed with Aloe vera. It provides a smoothing, mattifying and good-looking effect.";

  • Julia S. (09/06/2020): "Since I have sensitive skin, I reacted (tolerable tingling) the first 3 or 4 days that I used the product. My skin adjusted very quickly and is much smoother. The result is really striking. I am delighted" ;

  • Amandine M. (24/07/2021): "Used the serum for 4 weeks, it complements well with the antioxidant spray. It gets a little warm when applied but not an uncomfortable feeling, it absorbs quickly when applied in small amounts. The complexion looks more even and radiant."

  • Alizée S. (16/04/2021): "In the evening it is very pleasant, and you wake up with a good look. Regarding the spots, I have the impression that you see them less".

Consumers thus agree that the serum has a thick texture, but is quickly absorbed into the skin. Some quickly observed results with a more radiant complexion, smoother and firmer skin texture, and fewer dark spots.

As for application, we recommend applying 3 to 4 drops to the previously cleansed and dried face and neck during your evening routine. After applying the antioxidant serum, you may feel a warm sensation. You can then apply your daily moisturizer that suits your skin type. We recommend that you use the antioxidant serum for at least 4 weeks to see the effects.

Note: This serum will naturally turn yellow over time. However, this effect does not affect the effectiveness of the product.
