This is not advisable, especially if you have sensitive skin. Indeed, using glycolic acid and vitamin C at the same time can dry out your skin, cause redness and irritation, and in the worst cases, even lead to pigmentation spots.

For topical application, it is recommended to use a Vitamin C treatment in the morning and a product containing glycolic acid in the evening.

In the morning, vitamin C protects the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals and thus from oxidative stress, thanks to its antioxidant properties. This active ingredient therefore delays skin ageing and the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. As a photosensitising substance, glycolic acid is best used during your evening beauty routine, for its comprehensive exfoliating action that smooths the skin texture and restores radiance to the complexion.
