Heat Rash

Definition:   Minor skin lesions are common and not serious. They tend to disappear naturally after one or two days.

Internal and external causes:   Excessive perspiration.

How to reduce or eliminate them:   Hydrate by drinking water and applying a light-textured moisturising cream; use an aloe vera gel with antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties; consult a doctor if heat rashes are accompanied by pain or swelling in the irritated area, swollen lymph nodes, or even chills or fever.

Preventive measures:   Avoid synthetic materials when it's hot; opt for cotton or linen textiles; refrain from wearing overly tight clothing; avoid engaging in physical activity under intense heat.
