Antimicrobial, preservative, deodorant.
Origin:
Synthetic.
Concentration allowed by European regulations :
Up to 1.5% in finished cosmetic products to rinse. Up to 0.2% as a preservative in finished cosmetic products. Purity criteria: 3,3',4,4'-tetrachloroazobenzene ≤ 1 ppm; 3,3',4,4'-tetrachloroazoxybenzene ≤ 1 ppm.

Dermatological soaps, shaving foams/gels, deodorants, mouthwashes, and hand sanitizer are products containing triclocarban.

Suspected endocrine disruptor, suspected carcinogen.
