Botanical name:   Spinacia oleracea.

Extraction process:   Grinding of spinach leaves sourced from organic farming.

Family:   Chenopodiaceae.

Extracted part of the plant:   Leaves.

Cultivation area, origin:   China, United States, Japan, Turkey, Indonesia, France, Iran, Belgium, Pakistan.

Blooming:   From June to September.

Origin, provenance:   Hungary or Germany.

Phytochemical composition:   Provitamin A, vitamin B9, vitamin K, vitamin C, vitamin B6, minerals and trace elements (iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, copper, zinc, iodine, selenium), ferulic acid, lutein and zeaxanthin.

Sensory properties:   Appearance: Fine powder; Colour: Green; Odour: Typical.

Physical properties:   Water content ≤ 10%.

Concerns:   Antioxidant, soothing, brightening.
