The extract of pink grapefruit appears to present no particular dangers to the skin. However, given that it contains fruit acids and furanocoumarins, it cannot be ruled out that it may cause skin reactions (redness, skin dryness, irritations, etc.) in some individuals, as with any cosmetic ingredient. Therefore, certain precautions must be taken
It is recommended toperform a skin test on a small area of the body (inside of the elbow, inner wrist, behind the ear) to observe any potential skin reaction, before applying it to larger areas of the body.
It is advisable to limit any exposure to the sun and toapply a broad-spectrum sun product daily with at least an SPF 30 for the duration of the use of the care product with grapefruit extract.
