The fruits of the pistachio tree were first tasted 7,000 years BC, in Anatolia. Originating from the Middle East, this tree began to be cultivated in France during the reign of Louis XIV. Its vegetable oil is rich in antioxidants and helps to combat free radicals responsible for photo-ageing of the skin. Thanks to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids, it is also softening for the skin and hair.
