Preservative, anti-dandruff, antimicrobial.
Origin:
Synthetic.
Concentration allowed by European regulations :
Up to 2% in shampoos to be rinsed as an anti-dandruff active and up to 0.5% as a preservative. Up to 0.2% in hair lotions, face creams, foot care products.
Where to find it / them? :
Shampoos, lotions, face creams, foot creams, cleansers, hair serums.
Risks to health:
Suspected endocrine disruptor, suspected percutaneous penetration.
