To extend the shelf life of coffee butter, a hydrogenated oil, that is, containing unsaturated fatty acids that have undergone a partial hydrogenation process, and tocopherol have been added to the mixture.
Coffee butter is not classified as dangerous. However, it may cause temporary eye irritation.
