Origin: Animal, synthetic.
Concentration allowed by European regulations : Not regulated.
Where to find it / them? : Face masks, eye creams, face creams, sun care products, foundations, shampoos, conditioners, washing care products, deodorants, body balms/creams/milks, hand creams, make-up removers, facial cleansers, beard care products.

Risks to the environment : Non-vegan (from porcine or bovine fats by saponification), polluting manufacturing process (obtained by the synthesis of petrochemical derivatives).
More information : Also used as a food additive (E422). The INCI name does not give any indication on the origin of the glycerin. It is thus necessary to contact the manufacturer in order to know its origin.
