Native peony cells

Commonly known as:   Paeonia Lactiflora Leaf Cell Extract (I.N.C.I.), Chinese Peony Leaf Cells.

Botanical name:   Paeonia lactiflora.

Extraction process:   In vitro cultivation of leaves in a nutrient medium, followed by stimulation with UV and visible light to produce metabolites (active molecules), rinsing, cell filtration, sonication and dispersion of the extract in sunflower oil.

Family:   Paeoniaceae.

Extracted part of the plant:   Leaves.

Cultivation area, origin:   North China (Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning), Korea, Mongolia, Siberia, Japan.

Blooming:   From May to July.

Origin, provenance:   France.

Phytochemical composition:   Essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals.

Sensory properties:   Appearance: Liquid; Colour: Light yellow to yellow; Scent: Mild.

Physical properties:   Density = 0.9 - 1.1; Soluble in oil.

Concerns:   Soothing, mattifying, moisturising, brightening, antioxidant, sebum-regulating.

Effect:   Suitable for all skin types, particularly for those with oily tendencies and skin prone to blemishes.

Means of Preservation

Store in a cool and dry place. Do not exceed 40°C with a relative humidity of 65%.

Contraindications, Usage Precautions

There are no contraindications to the cosmetic use of native peony cells. Pregnant women and young children can use them. Avoid contact with the eyes.
