Polyglutamic acid, in a nutshell.
The polyglutamic acid is a polymer, notably recognised for its hydrating effects. Indeed, it forms a film on the skin's surface, which promotes the retention of hydration in the stratum corneum. Moreover, it possesses excellent hygroscopic properties and is capable of attracting and retaining up to 5,000 times its weight in water. Lastly, studies have shown that the polyglutamic acid can stimulate the synthesis of certain molecules belonging to the natural moisturising factor (a set of compounds aimed at retaining water in the stratum corneum) and inhibit hyaluronidase, the enzyme responsible for the degradation of hyaluronic acid. Thus, through these various mechanisms, the polyglutamic acid ensures the maintenance of skin hydration.

The combination of polyglutamic acid concentrated at 3% with red algae extract provides long-lasting hydration to the skin. The plumping serum smooths fine lines and gives the skin a bouncy appearance. Enriched with polyglutamic acid and plant-based collagen, the eye mask for fine lines has its effectiveness enhanced by the second skin effect of the reusable silicone patches that accompany it. This comprehensive treatment, formulated with 99% natural origin ingredients, smooths dehydration fine lines and brightens the eye contour in 10 minutes. It can be used once or twice a week. The mask is applied in a semi-thick layer around the eye contour and is then covered with the patches. After 10 minutes, you can remove the patches and massage in the excess.
