Profile: Short Eyelashes

Definition:   Hairs lining the eyelids that are shorter than the average length. Generally, the length of the upper eyelashes ranges between 8 and 12 mm, compared to 6 to 8 mm for the lower eyelashes.

Internal and external causes:   Genetic Landscape.

How to reduce or eliminate them:   Apply a serum to the eyelashes daily; favour ingredients that stimulate eyelash growth (castor oil, pea peptides, biotinyl-GHK, etc...); use mascara.

Preventive measures:   Removing eye makeup every evening; adapting one's diet by favouring certain foods such as proteins, zinc, and vitamin B8 (or biotin).
