Commonly known as: Abies Alba Seed Extract (I.N.C.I.), a plant extract derived from the seeds of the White Fir, also known as the Vosges Fir or Silver Fir.

Extraction process: Enzymatic extraction carried out in several stages: crushing of the seeds, stirring, enzymatic reaction, centrifugation, clarification.
Family: Pine Family.
Extracted part of the plant: Buds/Seeds.
Cultivation area, origin: Central and Southern Europe (particularly prevalent in the Alps and the Pyrenees).
Blooming: From April to July.
Origin, provenance: France (Vosges Forest).
Phytochemical composition: Polyunsaturated fatty acids (linolenic acid, linoleic acid), monounsaturated fatty acids (oleic acid), saturated fatty acids (palmitic acid, heptadecanoic acid, stearic acid, behenic acid, lignoceric acid), fatty alcohols (tetracosanol, hexacosanol, nonacosan-10-ol), phytosterols (campesterol, beta-sitosterol), tocopherols (alpha-tocopherol, gamma-tocopherol), polyphenols, flavonoids.
Sensory properties: Appearance: Clear liquid; Colour: Brown; Odour: Moderate.
Physical properties: pH = 3 - 6; Density: 0.99 – 1.10; Water-soluble; Recommended dosage in a cosmetic product: 0.1% - 2%.
Concerns: Brightening, anti-microbial, unifying, soothing, moisturising, regenerating, antioxidant.
Effect: All skin types, particularly those lacking radiance, those with uneven skin tone, as well as mature skin; All hair types, especially dull hair.
Facial Care (toners, moisturising creams, antioxidant mists, serums, after-shave treatments); Body Care (shower gels, body creams); Hair Care (shampoos, conditioners).
Product sensitive to oxidation. Store in its original packaging in a dry place, protected from light and at a temperature close to +4°C.
The extract of white fir seeds does not present any contraindications. It can be used by pregnant and/or breastfeeding women, as well as young children.
