WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF A TINTED SERUM?

The tinted serum is part of the makeup skincare trend. It offers natural coverage to the skin while providing benefits due to the presence of active ingredients.

What Is a Tinted Serum?

A tinted skin serum is a cross between a foundation, a BB cream and a classic serum. This hybrid formula evens out and reveals the skin's natural radiance, while offering the nourishing and moisturizing properties of a serum. With light, adjustable coverage, its finish smoothes out minor skin irregularities without smothering for a natural, luminous result.
Note:These serum foundations are primarily used to conceal blemishes and light imperfections on the skin of your face and neck. They cannot cover major blemishes such as acute redness and large pimples.

The Virtues of Tinted Serums.

Incorporating this type of hybrid care during your morning beauty routine has its advantages. Indeed, tinted serums have many benefits for the skin. Depending on their composition, they can have several functions:

  • Concealing slight irregularities and unifying the complexion.

Tinted serums are excellent for concealing small acne spots, pigmentation spots, blackheads, dark circles or fine lines.

  • Provide a moisturizing and nourishing and anti-oxidant action.

Aloe vera, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, squalane ... So many active ingredients that can be found in a tinted serum foundation. They provide numerous skincare benefits: antioxidants such as vitamin C help fight against free radicals generated by various external aggressions (pollution, smoking ...), active moisturizers such as hyaluronic acid and aloe vera can plump the skin and nourishing ingredients such as squalane strengthens the hydrolipidic film.

  • Protect the skin from UV rays.

Some serum foundations may be enriched with sunscreens to provide protection from the sun's UV rays. However, these filters usually thicken the formulas and they are more like tinted serums/creams.

Typology Tinted Serums.

Formulated without nanoparticles nor silicones, our tinted serums are non-occlusive and do not clog pores. They are made with 99% natural ingredients. Enriched with vitamin C for radiance and aloe vera to moisturize the skin, they provide light coverage and even skin tone. In addition, these 2-in-1 products exclude fragrance, nanoparticles, and silicones that are often used in traditional foundations and that can promote the appearance of imperfections. Each tinted serum can match a wide range of skin tones. The six shades of our serums were developed according to the FITZPATRICK phototype scale.
