Lanolin (Wool Wax or Wool Grease)

INCI name: Isopropyl Lanolate, Glyceryl Lanolate, Lanolin, Isoalkyl Acid, Pentaerythrityl Tetraundecylenate, Laneth, Lanolin Cera, Lanolin Oil, Lanolin Acid.
Function: Antistatic, emollient, emulsifying agent, hair conditioner, skin care agent, surfactant, fixing agent, film-forming agent, foam builder, cleansing agent, emulsifying agent.
Origin: Animal.
Concentration allowed by European regulations : Not regulated.
Where to find it / them? : Face creams, lip balms/creams, body milks, foot moisturizers, lipsticks, scrubs, hair waxes, compact powders, eye shadows, tinted lip waters, conditioners, mascaras, shampoos.
Risks to health: Potential allergen.
Risks to the environment : Non-vegan (obtained by purification and refining of wool grease).
