Botanical name: Zizyphus joazeiro.
Extraction process: The extraction of jujube bark in a mixture of water and propanediol, followed by clarification and decontamination through filtration.
Family: Rhamnaceae.
Extracted part of the plant: Bark.
Cultivation area, origin: Originally from the northeast of Brazil. Today, it is also found in Bolivia and Paraguay.
Blooming: From May to June.

Sensory properties: Appearance: Liquid; Colour: Amber yellow to dark amber; Odour: Characteristic.
Physical properties: Density: 1.010 - 1.080 g/cm3; Refractive Index: 1.370 - 1.410; pH: 5.2 - 7.2; Recommended dosage: 1 - 2%; Water-soluble; Partially soluble in ethanol.
Concerns: Antidandruff, sebum-regulating, soothing, anti-inflammatory, rebalancing, cleansing, antibacterial, softening.
Effect: All hair types, particularly scalps exhibiting dandruff, irritated scalps, and scalps with a tendency towards oiliness.

Method of Preservation
Store at room temperature, between +15°C and +25°C, in a dry and cool place, protected from moisture. Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.
