I get supremely dry lips starting in winter and continuing through at least all of spring. Different chapsticks and such can help but never really finish the job. But this!? This before any chapstick, lotion, etc. Is like a miracle worker for helping to heal my dry flaky skin on AND around my lips while feeling entirely gentle. This quickly has become a MUST for me.
Benefits + Use
Unlike a granular lip scrub, this peel eliminates dead cells with its high concentration of exfoliating active ingredients (AHA and pomegranate enzymes).
How to apply the lip peel
The Lip Peel should be the first step of your lip care routine. Dip the applicator into the bottle and run it over your lips. Leave the product on and do not rinse. Wait at least one minute before applying your next products.
Follow with the Lip Mask or Tinted Lip Oil to repair and nourish.
We do not recommend more than two applications per day of the Lip Peel.
Some people may feel a warming or tingling sensation due to the presence of an active ingredient that stimulates microcirculation in the lips. This sensation is normal and poses no risk.
Suitable for all skin types
Dry or chapped lips can particularly benefit from the Lip Peel which is formulated with chemical exfoliants to smooth rough texture.
By reducing irregularities on the surface of the lips, the Lip Peel improves the application of tinted products.
Recycled glass bottle
Product composed of a glass bottle, a Polypropylene (PP) cap, and a polyethylene (HDPE) applicator.
The glass bottle is recyclable. The cap and the applicator should be disposed of in the household waste bin.

Principal actives of the lip peel
Mandelic acid (2%):
This chemical exfoliant belongs to the AHA (alpha hydroxy acids) family. By breaking the bonds between cells, this active ingredient helps eliminate the layer of dead cells on the surface of the lips. Lips are then softer and more supple.
Pomegranate Enzyme:
These fruit enzymes stimulate skin's natural hydration while providing micro-exfoliation that complements mandelic acid.
Trehalose:
This is a dissacharide that limits water loss from lips. It is found in nature where it helps prevent the dehydration of many plants and micro-organisms in extreme winter conditions.
