Purifying scalp treatment

The scalp, like the skin of the face, is rich in sebaceous glands. These secrete sebum which helps moisturise the scalp and facilitate hair growth. However, several factors (stress, hormonal imbalances) can overstimulate these sebaceous glands. It is this overproduction of sebum that gives the hair roots a greasy appearance.

Concentrated in sebum-regulating active ingredients, this treatment rebalances sebum production for a healthy scalp and hair that becomes oily less quickly.

  • The active ingredients

    Zinc PCA (4%):

    This trace element is recognised for its purifying and sebum-regulating properties, which rebalance the scalp by bringing lightness and freshness to the hair. Zinc also has an antibacterial quality, which cleanses the scalp.

    Nettle extract:

    Rich in trace elements (sulphur, copper and zinc), nettle is known for its purifying properties, and helps regulate sebum production. The hair becomes oily less quickly.

    Peppermint and eucalyptus globulus essential oils:

    Recognised for their antibacterial and anti-fungal properties, these essential oils help cleanse the scalp and prevent the appearance of oily dandruff. They also give an immediate feeling of freshness on application as well as a pleasant minty scent.

How to use it

Massage one to two pipettes into the entire dry scalp every other day, in the morning or evening. Do not rinse.

We recommend the following application steps:

  • Using a comb or your fingers, part the hair and apply a few drops of the serum directly to the scalp.

  • Repeat to cover the entire scalp. 4-6 sections should suffice.

  • Massage the entire scalp until completely absorbed.

Another faster technique: apply a few drops of serum to your fingertips, distribute them well, then massage the scalp directly with the product on your fingers. Repeat the process to cover the entire scalp.

This serum is recommended for scalps which tend to become greasy, quickly. It is also suitable for people prone to oily dandruff.

    I haven't actually used this as much as I thought I would need to, because the shampoo is doing such an amazing job! But I use this every now and then as a boost or if I haven't been able to wash my hair. I like it, it isn't too heavy or greasy, and my scalp gas cleared up really well.
