Resurfacing Serum L63
10% Glycolic Acid + Mastic Tree Extract

The Resurfacing Serum L63 is suitable for all skin types. It is particularly recommended for combination to oily skin, which may be affected by blackheads or visible pores.

However, due to its high concentration of AHAs, its use is not recommended for sensitive, reactive, or atopic skin, as it may cause allergic reactions or irritations.

The texture of the Resurfacing Serum L63 is a light, water-based gel that quickly absorbs into the skin without leaving a greasy or sticky finish.

Glycolic acid 10%:
Known for its exfoliating power on the upper layers of the epidermis as well as its astringent and deep-cleansing properties, glycolic acid helps reduce the presence of blackheads caused by an accumulation of sebum that clogs the pores.

Glycolic acid peeling is the most well-known treatment for the outer layer of the skin, where dead cells accumulate daily. By breaking these bonds, this active ingredient allows for their removal, resulting in a smoother and more radiant complexion.

Finally, glycolic acid also possesses moisturizing properties, thanks to its stimulating effect on cell renewal and the synthesis of hyaluronic acid.

2% Mastic tree extract:
The mastic tree, also known as the mastic tree, grows on the poor, arid, and rocky soils of the Mediterranean region. Its extract helps tighten pores, mattify shiny areas, and prevent the appearance of blackheads, thanks to its anti-comedogenic action.

Alpha-bisabolol 0.2%:
Derived from candeia bark, alpha-bisabolol is known for its anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory effects. Since glycolic acid can cause irritations, this soothing agent helps prevent the occurrence of skin inflammation.

Chamomile extract 2%:
Rich in matricine and bisabolol, chamomile is known for its soothing and restorative properties. It has anti-inflammatory properties that help prevent the onset of inflammations. Similar to alpha bisabolol, chamomile extract also serves as an anti-irritant here, to balance the potentially irritating effect of glycolic acid.

The Exfoliating Serum L63 contains alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) which can increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Therefore, do not use it in the morning, use sunscreen, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterward.

Stop using the Exfoliating Serum L63 if you experience discomfort or irritation.

This serum is not compatible with the Targeted Imperfections Serum L61 with salicylic acid. If you are also using this serum, alternate their use every other day to avoid mixing the active ingredients.

To minimize the risk of skin irritation, it is advised not to apply multiple products containing AHAs (glycolic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid, tartaric acid, etc.) and/or BHAs (salicylic acid) and/or retinoids (retinol, retinol esters, etc.) on the same night. In this case, alternate their use every other day to avoid exacerbating the effects of these active ingredients.
